If You Will Change, Everything Will Change For You

ChangeJim Rohn was a motivational speaker and coach who had many inspirational sayings regarding personal growth and business development - this particular saying of his is particularly relevant with a new year approaching. 2010 can be your best year yet if you take responsibility to make it so.

2009 has been a difficult year for many of us with all the talk of financial crisis as well as the doom and gloom that has been spreading in the media - but I know for some of us it has been an amazing year with new studios opening along with classes and personal training clients escalating. Success is not an accident, it is based on three things:

1. Your life-guiding principles
2. Your attitude
3. Your actions

If you are contemplating the New Year, 2010 and want it to be the best yet then you need to start planning. Take some time out to seriously consider What’s Next for You?

The bottom line for this thinking process needs to take into consideration your basic philosophy for life. Knowing yourself is an important element if you are to make a success of your future. Are you a glass half empty or glass half full type of person? Optimist or Pessimist? Loner or do you perform best in a team? Your Attitude

When you think about your future; how you want it to take shape, avoid negative self-talk. You know those thoughts that may immediately come to mind when you think of taking a leap into the unknown. Make “how can I” the beginning of all your plans. There are always dozens of reason why you can’t do something - focus on the positive. Another thing, only share you dreams with people who support you run away from the “what are you thinking of?” crowd.

Your Actions

Start today - write down exactly what you want from 2010. Then break those thoughts and dreams down into small bite-size doable actions and before you know it you will be on the road to your fantastic 2010.
